MISSION
The Jamie Shaw Memorial Fund is charged with providing financial support for access to training and development for athletes and coaches in the Yukon. We will strive to honour Jamie's commitment to life long learning by providing financial support to those who need it most.
SCHOLARSHIPS
We hope to carry on Jamie’s legacy through The Jamie Shaw Memorial Foundation by assisting youth and coaches in the Yukon continue with their journey of personal development and life-long learning. The Fund will assist with the financial cost of athlete and coach development, and will provide for direct financial assistance for athletes to attend competitions. The selection process will consider financial need, existing community engagement and plans for reinvestment in the community, and applicants’ dedication to sport and commitment to improvement.

Meet the Athletes and Coaches
Tori Vollmer (Athlete)
Tori has been a high level Down Hill Skier for the past 11 years. She has dedicated countless hours to training both on and off the hill. Her success on the slopes has opened doors to train in Alberta and chase her dream of a D1 NCAA scholarship.
We're happy to help as she recovers from a significant concussion. She has plans to continue to give back to the sporting community in the Yukon as she recovers.
Drew Lyness (Coach)
Drew has been working to keep MT Sima and the Yukon back country safe. We are proud to support Drew with his ongoing training with the Canadian Avalanche Association. His goal to gain enough knowledge to be able to offer public avalanche training in the territory. Thank you for your dedication to safety.
